This position is classified as Nonexempt Regular Full-time - Overtime is required as needed to meet operational needs

Will not pay for applicant relocation expenses.

$20 - $25 per hour (DOE)

Pay Transparency Disclosure: These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, however the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location and alignment with market data. The Company reserves the right to modify the range in the future.

Competitive Benefit Package: All Regular Full-Time Employees working 40+ hours per week will be eligible for our benefit package after completing 60 days of full-time employment.

Woodinville Custom Wines is a premium custom wine making facility located in the West Valley District of the Woodinville Wine Country. The only one of its kind in Western Washington, we offer state-of-the-art winemaking equipment and staff to facilitate client-driven production from grape to bottle. Our clients have the option to provide complete instructions to custom tailer their process, or they can choose an in-house standard protocol developed by our experienced winemaking directors. We follow strict operating procedures in our facility to ensure clean and stable conditions. Our staff manages and records all activity via TankNet and InnoVint cloud-based software to offer our clients real-time production data. We can handle the physical operations of production, so our clients can focus on brand building, marketing, and distribution.

Position Summary:

This position performs all standard crush activities; including (but not limited to) receiving and crushing grapes, and presses. Responsibilities may also include racking, filtering, clarifying and blending juice and wine, sanitation in all areas of cellar operation, cleaning and sterilizing tanks and other equipment, as well as bottling.

RESPONSIBILILITIES include all aspects of the winemaking process, but are not limited to:

•  Accurately complete work orders in a timely manner, and other tracking documentation

•  Barrel work includes sampling, racking, filling, topping, cleaning, and maintenance.

•  Follow specific cleaning and sanitation practices for equipment and the winery.

•  Follows standard operating procedures of all cellar activities to ensure maximum productivity and wine quality objectives are achieved

•  Operate and Maintain equipment with training.

•  Bottling

•  Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to timely and accurate reporting of all work-related injuries and illnesses to the supervisor, promoting safety awareness to co-workers, advising the supervisor of any unsafe acts and conditions, wearing required personal protective equipment and following confined space protocol where necessary

•  Maintain a safe and clean working environment

•  All other duties as needed

•  Forklift duties as needed

HARVEST includes, but is not limited to:

•  Fruit to tank processing: receiving, sorting, pressing, barrel down, managing tank headspace, pump operation (air, PC, and bulldog) and tank sanitation.

•  Fermentation management: pump-overs, punch-downs, and Brix and temperature checks

•  Nutrient additions and inoculations

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

Working conditions in certain areas of the winery can be cold or hot, wet, slipper and noisy. Flexible hours, weekends and long hours will be required during grape harvest. Handling hazardous materials and frequent walking, including going up and down stairs and

ladders, dragging wine hoses and bending are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate

•  Wine Certification is desirable but not required, or 2 years previous experience preferred

•  Certified Forklift Driver preferred, but not required (provide documentation of certification)

•  Required to pass in-house forklift skills tests in order to use forklifts

•  Required to comply with all company policies

•  Required to work overtime as needed

•  Required to work assigned shift

•  Required to be at least 18 years of age

•  Required to lift and move up to 50 lbs

•  Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions of the job

•  Must be able to operate and utilize the computerized inventory system

•  Accepts constructive feedback and alters behavior accordingly
