Corliss Estate is a premier Washington State winery specializing in small-batch wine production in a state-of-the-art winemaking facility. Grapes are sourced from our three estate vineyards, all located within the Red Mountain AVA.
We are a small team of skilled and passionate people dedicated to producing wines at the highest level. We are looking for a skilled cellar worker to join us. Working under the supervision of the Assistant Winemaker, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of harvest production, as well as specialized cellar work throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- All aspects of cellar work, including wine transfers, racking, topping, filtering, bottling, sanitization, forklift driving and barrel work
- Carry out day-to-day cellar procedures in a timely manner in order to meet a demanding yearly production schedule
- Assist with training and supervising harvest interns
- Maintain the winemaking facility and all winery equipment to an excellent standard
- Identify and communicate any unforeseen challenges relating to the winery, vineyard properties, and production schedule
- Occasionally assist with laboratory analysis
- Occasionally represent the brand and participate in winery tours, tastings and special events

Job Requirements/Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of one year’s previous cellar experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Enology or Viticulture preferred but not required
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift and carry up to 50lb
This full-time position often requires an excess of 40 hours per week with irregular shifts, overtime and weekend work during peak times, harvest, and bottling.
Compensation will depend on experience. Full benefits package included.
