Full-Time Tasting Room Associate

We are looking for an experienced Tasting Room Sales Associate to help create luxury experiences and sell high quality wines at our 2 locations, one in Downtown Solvang, and other on our Estate Ranch House in Santa Rita Hills. This role requires someone capable of conducting periodic vineyard tour hikes at our ranch and comfortably walk up to 3 miles through varied, hilly terrain in parts of our beautiful and scenic 630 acre ranch.

Job Duties

·        Offering luxury hospitality experience.

·        Educating guests on the winery, its history, and its products.

·        Selling wine and wine clubs to meet company goals.

·        Host private tastings and hikes at estate vineyard and sell wine and wine club memberships.

·        Create and process daily POS and phone/other orders.

·        Requirements

 

·        Ability to hike – 2.7 mile with inclines

·        Hospitality, wine and/or sales background required

·        Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly

·        21+ years old

·        4-5 days a week including weekends

·        POS (WineDirect) experience is a plus.

·        Sick and vacation time accrual

$17-$18/hr + comissions, incentives and tips
