Human Resource Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The Human Resource Manager will be in charge of the following duties:

The Human Resources Manager plans, coordinates, and directs the administrative functions of the organization. Responsible for on-boarding, off-boarding, compliance with regulations at all levels, and assists with recruitment process in partnership with partners & managers. Acts as company safety officer and supports leadership with policy and procedure decisions & maintenance. Responsible for practical employee support in the areas of employee experience, compliance, and documentation.

Essential Job Duties:

-Employee Advocate: Be available to address all employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.

-Onboarding and tracking of all employees.

-Time management: Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work.

-Ability to take on multiple tasks at once and okay with constant distractions.

-Advise others on HR topics, policies and procedures.

-Knowledge of company P&P's, Benefits, Onboarding and Payroll tracking.

-Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.

-Maintain employee files.

-Being an employee advocate: It is important for employees to feel comfortable and safe in their work environment. This position provides support for employees to go to with any questions or concerns. The HR Assistant can then relay important information to managers and executive team.

-Ability to maintain confidentiality.

-Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

-Problem solving skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization and in other public settings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience as human resources representative with program responsibilities (e.g., benefits, employee training, onboarding/offboarding, etc.).
  • HR-focused certificate such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of OLFA and FMLA regulations and how to administer various types of employee leaves of absence (LOAs).
  • Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with others.
  • High level of integrity, commitment to confidentiality, and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others to work collaboratively.
