Tomasello Winery, a 90 -year old, fourth generation grower, producer and bottler of numerous brands is currently seeking an in-person Regional Sales Manager to cover numerous States. Based East of the Mississippi preferred but not necessary. The position is responsible for developing new relationships and maintaining strong existing customer relationships with State Distributors, Chain Buyers, and their Managers, Independent Retailers in-person interactions a must.
Responsibilities including setting up and traveling to meetings with distributors, attend sales meetings and possible trade shows. Set up and execute wine tastings where required. Educate sales staff and customers of winery portfolio. Visit key independent accounts in selected States as well as Chains and their buyers. Develop and execute sales and marketing plans in each selected State. Visit often, available to work with sales members in each State doing drive along visits as requested.
Computer skills include Power Point Excel, Outlook etc. Personal skills include communication skills, public speaking, writing and presentation skills. Must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration with a minimum of five years or more in sales and marketing in the wine industry with focus on distribution, chains and independent sales.
Additional Requirements: Must have the ability to travel, frequent air travel with overnight trips. A valid driver's license, ability to lift a full case of wine approximately 40 pounds. Compensation: Base salary, Commission, Travel expenses, lap top computer, allowance for cell phone, medical insurance, 401k enrollment.
