Elizabeth Chambers Cellar was founded in 2013 by Liz Chambers, a 3rd generation Oregonian with deep family roots in Oregon wine. We craft elegant Pinot Noirs with a terroir-driven approach, as well as Pinot Gris and Rosé.
The winery and tasting room are housed in downtown McMinnville’s historic power plant building, and our goal is to create an unforgettable wine tasting experience for our guests through welcoming hospitality and exceptional customer service.
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Hospitality team! Ideal candidates will be charismatic and outgoing team players, goal-oriented, with a strong desire to sell wine and wine club memberships.
Key duties include:
• Effectively and professionally sell wine and wine club memberships to our guests
• Provide an extraordinary experience for every guest
• Conduct tastings at the bar or in the garden terrace
• Host seated appointments and private groups
• Assist with winery events
• Opening and closing duties
• Collect customer names and email addresses for future contact
• Process wine and membership transactions accurately and efficiently
Qualifications:
• Represent Elizabeth Chambers Cellar professionally, graciously and enthusiastically
• Enjoy collaborating with others in a strong team environment
• Have a love for entertaining and working with and for people
• Must be able to multi-task, hosting many guests at one time while providing equally outstanding customer service to each
• Must have some wine knowledge; food and wine knowledge a plus
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, weekends and some evenings and holidays required
• Possess and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move 40 pounds repeatedly
• Must have or be able to obtain OLCC license and Food Handler’s Card
