Responsibilities:  

• Greet and welcome guests to the Amapola Creek Tasting Lounge with enthusiasm and warmth. 

• Conduct wine tastings, educate guests about Amapola Creek wines, and provide exceptional customer service. 

• Pour wine with attention to detail, ensuring a memorable tasting experience for guests.

• Promote and sell Amapola Creek wines to customers, including wine club memberships. 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and outdoor areas Assist with event coordination and execution, including private tastings, wine club events, and special gatherings.

•  Conduct inventory management, restock wine bottles, and handle cash transactions accurately.

•  Assist in social media management, creating engaging content and promoting events and specials. Collaborate with the team to ensure a cohesive and positive guest experience.

•  Uphold the brand image and values of Amapola Creek Winery at all times. 

Qualifications:  

• Must be at least 21 years of age. 

• Must be able to lift 50lbs. 

• Previous customer service experience preferred. 

• Passion for wine and eagerness to learn about different grape varietals and wine-making processes.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with a diverse range of guests 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

•  Familiarity with social media platforms and willingness to help manage social media accounts.

•  Ability to work weekends and some holidays as needed. 

• Enthusiastic, friendly, and outgoing personality.

•  Interest in pursuing a career in the wine industry and willingness to grow with the company.

 

$20-28 hourly
