Event Coordinator
Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for planning, hosting and ensuring every detail is just right? TerraVox Winery is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in creating unforgettable wine events.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide guest experiences that will build brand loyalty.

Serve wine as tastings, flights, by the glass and by the bottle for guests in both individual and group settings.
Promote the sale of wine and merchandise at events, pursue sales and event opportunities and promote the wine club.
Accurately use Square POS for sales transactions.
Accurately use Microsoft office suite to maintain inventory and sample logs.
Maintain the physical setting of event spaces to reinforce standards of the brand by ensuring that all public areas are tidy and that displays of wine and merchandise products are attractive and well-maintained.
Prep and tear down for events.
Contact current and prospective customers via phone and email to increase wine sales and wine club enrollment.
Demonstrate personal accountability in following all company policies and procedures.
Work cooperatively with other members of the team to achieve goals and maintain open channels of communication.
Team Tasks
Bottling and harvest season on an as-needed basis.
Performance Specifications
Build on existing events, host tastings & tours, develop a corporate event program, off-site events and more.
Reporting Relationships
The Event Coordinator will attend weekly team meetings with the owner and staff to report on tasks accomplished for the week and to prioritize upcoming tasks.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years industry-related experience
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation for commuting to the vineyard and to vineyard events
21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
First-hand knowledge and appreciation of wine and wine-related topics
The ability to taste and smell and describe aromas and flavors of the wines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak confidently to individuals or groups.
Retail sales and customer service experience including the ability to present product, up-sell and cross-sell, ask for and close a sale.
Interpersonal awareness, relationship management and influencing skills.
Available extended hours, weekends and occasional holidays as required in order to complete the job.
The ability to take detailed instructions.
Clear communication with supervisors and support personnel
The ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive disposition.
The ability to multi-task in an organized fashion and remain calm under pressure in a busy work environment.
The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
Food handling certificate
Certification of Completion for Introductory Course & Examination (or higher) through the Court of Master Sommeliers
