Tomasello Winery is seeking a Viticulturist for its combined 68 acre vineyard in Hammonton and Winslow Township, NJ.  The Viticulturist be responsible for all aspects of vineyard management, from winter pruning to fall harvest. Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Oversight of herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide application
- Scanning vineyard for insect or fungal disease damage
- Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
- Pruning and tying plants
- Transporting grapes to winery during harvest
- Other tasks may include mowing the vineyard and cleaning farm equipment as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of vineyard activities such as pesticide application and irrigation schedules

Qualifications:

-         Will need to work potentially on some weekends during the growing season based on weather and ripening of grapes

-         Valid driver’s license is required.  Previous experience operating tractors and spray equipment preferred.

-         NJ Private Pesticide Applicators’ license preferred, but not required
