Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Facilities & Warehouse Coordinator for the Oregon Ackley Brands Winery Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient coordination of the winery's warehouse, supporting harvest activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and managing inventory. This role requires strong organizational skills, safety knowledge, and proficiency in operating forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Warehouse and Inventory Management:
o Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
o Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
o Supervise daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing wine products
o Optimize warehouse space utilization and organize storage to facilitate easy access and retrieval of products.
o Set up inventory transfers and movements between winery and tasting rooms
o Operate forklifts to move products within the warehouse and winery.

•  Harvest Support:
o Assist in the setup and breakdown of harvest equipment.
o Support the winemaking team with grape processing, including sorting, crushing, weighing, and pressing.
o Work extended hours during the harvest season as needed to ensure timely processing.
o Provide logistical support during the harvest season, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of materials to the production floor.

•  Safety Protocols:
o Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
o Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
o Provide safety training to warehouse and harvest employees, emphasizing forklift safety.
o Investigate and report on workplace accidents and incidents, developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

•  Work Ethic and Team Collaboration:
o Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to quality in all tasks.
o Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
o Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, providing updates and feedback as necessary.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Work Environment:
- This role involves working in both indoor and outdoor settings, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
- The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling physical tasks.
