Oregon’s leading winery seeks a customer service-minded food and wine lover for the seasonal role of Wine Educator. Founded in 1991, King Estate Winery is recognized as one of the state’s leading wineries, committed to producing wines of exceptional quality using sustainable farming methods. At 1,033 acres, King Estate is the largest vineyard in north America to be certified as Biodynamic® by Demeter USA. Located southwest of Eugene, Ore., at the southern tip of the Willamette Valley, the winery is home to an elegant restaurant offering French-inspired farm-to-table cuisine. King Estate is best known for world-class Oregon Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
The ideal candidate will provide the highest level of guest service, proactively promote wine club sales, understand the breadth of King Estate wines and be able to educate our customers in a manner that will foster customer loyalty. The preferred applicant will maintain competency with computer functions and retail POS systems, have sound wine knowledge with a commitment and enthusiasm for the King Estate portfolio, dependable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule.
